| Welcome to the Clubs and Programs of Awana
Today, there are almost 10,000 churches worldwide using the Awana program to reach boys and girls with the Good News of Jesus Christ. The word AWANA stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed and comes from 2 Timothy 2:15. “Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”
Awana = Fun and Learning!
A kids' ministry without fun is a ministry without kids. That's why Awana takes fun “seriously.” Our club meetings are so exciting that kids can't wait to come back for more.
But fun is only the start. They also learn Bible verses and spiritual truths that expand their minds. Awana teaches children that God is real, He loves them and He has expressed that love through His Son, Jesus Christ.
The goal of Awana is to give boys and girls the chance to know, love and serve God.
