If you died right now, do you know where you would go — heaven or hell? We will all spend eternity in one place or the other. The choice is up to YOU!

View an animated presentation on how to get to heaven.

Admit that you are a sinner.
God is perfect and without sin. Sin makes us fall short of God's glory, unable to meet His requirements for getting into heaven. Our sins must be removed in order to have eternal life with God.

"As it is written: 'There is none righteous, no, not one'" Romans 3:10 (NKJV)
"All have turned away from God; all have gone wrong. No one does good, not even one." Romans 3:12 (NLT)
"For all have sinned; all fall short of God's glorious standard." Romans 3:23 (NLT)

Our sins have separated us from God and result in spiritual death.

"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 6:23 (NKJV)

Realize that Someone loved you and died for you.
God loved us so much that He sent His only Son Jesus to earth as a man. Jesus paid for your sins by dying on a cross, so that you could go to heaven.

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved." John 3:16-17 (NKJV)
"But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8 (NKJV)

When Jesus died on the cross, His blood paid for your sins.

"God has purchased our freedom with His blood and has forgiven all our sins." Colossians 1:14 (NLT)

Realize that you cannot earn or help earn your way into heaven.
Being a good person does not get you into heaven. It is a free gift from God. The Bible says you are saved through faith, without you adding anything else.

"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast." Ephesians 2:8-9 (NKJV)
"... the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 6:23b (NLT)

Jesus is the only way we can come to God.

Jesus says in the Bible, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." John 14:6 (NKJV)

  By faith, receive Jesus Christ.
Jesus died to give the gift of eternal life to everybody. But, like all other gifts, this one is of no value unless you "receive it" for yourself.

"But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:" John 1:12 (NKJV)

Call upon the Lord and ask Him to save you.
Friend, if you are willing to stop trying it your way, and completely trust Jesus Christ, then right now you can be saved! The choice is yours!

The Bible says: "For if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." Romans 10:9 (NLT)

Just bow your head and pray a prayer similar to this:
"Lord Jesus, I confess that I am a sinner. I believe Jesus died for my sins and rose from the dead. With all my heart I turn from my sin and receive Him as my Lord and Savior right now. From this moment on, I am going to trust Jesus for my salvation. Amen."

  Now what should I do?
Welcome to the Family of God!
After you have prayed to receive Jesus Christ into your heart, tell a pastor or another Christian about your decision. Show others your faith in Christ by asking for baptism by immersion in your local church as a public expression of your faith. Read the Bible (God's Word) and pray to God everyday. Join a Bible believing church to fellowship with other Christians. But most of all, tell others about Jesus so they can also have eternal life with God.

What if I don't believe I need Jesus Christ?
If you have chosen not to admit you are a sinner and place your trust in Jesus Christ, read what the Bible has to say about hell.
